Avalon Moore (she/they) is the co-lead of the indie sibling duo Long Call along with her brother Landen. Avalon is a queer ex-therapist, life drawing model, comics artist, writer, actor and musician based in Halifax/Kjipuktuk, Nova Scotia.
Long Call began as a self-taught at home recording and production project. Since playing their first show in the spring of 2022, Long Call has gone on to book, manage and play three national tours, performing to growing audiences in bars, backyards, living rooms, and theatres across the country and at home in Halifax.
Sometimes very quiet, sometimes very loud. Joyfully, and recklessly, DIY.
