Ioanna (pronounced you-wa-na) is an emerging force in the Toronto music scene. A multidisciplinary artist, creative director, audio engineer, and the Director of Operations at Abstract Inc. As a woman working across some of the industry’s most male-dominated spaces, she has carved out a lane defined by intention, creative autonomy, and undeniable impact.
As an artist, Ioanna has already made her mark. In the last year alone, she has earned over 550,000 streams on Spotify, surpassed 1 million views on her latest music video on YouTube, and released her newest single, “Makeup.” She recently opened for Evangelia on the Feels Like Greek Summer Tour in Toronto and previously shared festival stages with icons including Akon, Rick Ross, Neyo, T.I., and Nelly at the HOT IN HERRE Festival.
Her collaborative work spans both local and international chart-topping artists, with features across major editorial playlists as well as coverage in Earmilk, The Fader, HipHopSince1987, and Complex Canada. She has caught the attention of industry heavyweights such as Jermaine Dupri, and made a cameo appearance in DJ Khaled’s “STAYING ALIVE” featuring Drake and Lil Baby. Her latest collaboration featured JELEEL! on their single "Touch."
Beyond her accomplishments as an artist, Ioanna plays a pivotal role behind the scenes. As Director of Operations at Abstract Inc, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the World Class Recording Studio and leads the company’s photo and film production at the Abstract Productions House. Her work as a creative director and audio engineer has positioned her as a driving force in shaping the aesthetic and sonic identity of both emerging and established talent. Balancing technical skill with artistic vision, she champions women’s representation in spaces where they are often overlooked. Proving that creative excellence and operational leadership are not mutually exclusive but mutually reinforcing.
