I’m Laura Lee Schultz, the songwriter, guitarist, and frontperson of Down The Lees, a post-rock/noise-rock band based in Kelowna, BC. I built a name for myself in Vancouver and the European underground while living abroad, touring my Steve Albini-recorded album Bury The Sun across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands. My music blends raw intensity with emotional vulnerability, always pushing the edges of alternative rock.

I’m also the founder of Girls to the Front, a festival that uplifts femme, non-binary, and 2SLGBTQIA+ voices in heavy music. I run a collective label called Off White House Records and have a deep DIY ethos that fuels everything I do, from stage design to community building to mentoring emerging artists.
