Born and raised in Canada, Agatha Kaspar’s romantic pianist roots has evolved to embrace a variety of genres, musical instruments and techniques for film, television, and the concert hall.
Agatha’s film scores have played at many festivals including Cannes, Tribeca, Slamdance and the Toronto International Film Festival. Her film credits include Kodachrome (a Netflix film starring Ed Harris, Jason Sudeikis and Elizabeth Olsen), The Ugly Chickens (produced by George R.R. Martin), Copenhagen (winner of the Slamdance Film Festival's Audience Award), Obama Revealed (CNN), Drowning (PBS), Marisol (HBO), The Long Weekend (TVO), and Dateless to Dangerous (Lifetime).
Agatha has recently provided music for television shows including an original score for the dramedy series Moonshine (CBC/The CW), original songs and the title music for Ginny & Georgia (Netflix), title music for Stuff The British Stole (ABC/CBC), title music for Relative Secrets (Acorn TV/BBC America), and original music for the documentary series An Optimist's Guide to the Planet (Bloomberg Originals) hosted by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.
In the advertising world, Agatha has also written original music for several companies including Squarespace, Suntory, Rolex, and PwC.
Finally, in the concert music space, Agatha’s works have been performed in many esteemed venues including Merkin Hall, Le Poisson Rouge, Symphony Space, MoMA NYC, and The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. Her latest piece seavoda for piano and orchestra, funded by the Canada Council for the Arts, is now available on all streaming platforms.
