Andrea England is fully immersed in both the creative and business sides of the music industry. She is an award-winning songwriter landing cuts / cowrites with a wide variety of artists, from CCMA Award winners, Meghan Patrick, Don Amero and Twin Kennedy, to international Popstar/Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger (for which Andrea received a UK Gold Record); the founder, curator, and host of critically-acclaimed songwriter series, Four Chords & the Truth (at TD Music Hall within Toronto's Massey Hall / AMC complex); and an artist who has released three albums (most recently, Evidence of Love, produced by Juno Award-winning recording engineer / producer Hill Kourkoutis). Andrea is also the Associate Director of Publisher Engagement and Strategy at the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency, a SoundExchange company, where she brings a unique and holistic perspective - as a creator, educator, and music business analyst - to support CMRRA’s publisher and self-published songwriter clients; a member of the Board of Directors of the Songwriters Association of Canada; an active member of both the Canadian and American Recording Academies and many national and international music industry/music publishing associations, including the CCMA; an experienced songwriting competition juror and international song camp co-curator.
