Sauvé
Artist
Sauvé MacBean is a Toronto- & Edmonton-based composer, songwriter, and performer whose music is rooted in honesty, vulnerability, and connection. A late-diagnosed artist with disabilities, Sauvé creates from the lens of lived experience—exploring creativity and music as a form of unmasking and self-discovery. Her upcoming album dives into the realities of navigating autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, religious trauma, and PTSD as a millennial in a rapidly changing world. Through lush orchestral textures, soulful melodies, and pop-driven storytelling, her work gives voice to the challenges and beauty of living authentically.
At the heart of Sauvé’s artistry is a commitment to telling human stories. Whether writing for choir, orchestra, or in collaboration with contemporary artists, she draws on gospel, soul, and pop influences to create music that resonates across genres. Her compositions often fuse the sacred and the everyday, offering both refuge and recognition to listeners who see themselves in her journey.
Beyond her personal artistry, Sauvé is the founder of Sketgo Consulting, where she supports artists, non-profits, and businesses through grant writing, strategy, and capacity building. She has helped secure millions in funding for creative projects across Canada, bringing the same vision and authenticity she pours into her music into her consulting practice.
