Music Production and the Female Ear: Inspiring A New Generation

Music Publishers Canada invites you to "Music Production and the Female Ear: Inspiring a New Generation.” During this workshop, music producers, engineers, artists, songwriters and composers will be asked to remap the sound criteria that they apply to assess the music they make and listen to. Together, we will explore how applying the research from our speakers can give you the confidence to take a more assertive role in music creation and can open doors to developing new sound spaces.

The workshop will be run by Dr. Amandine Pras and Kayla Milmine. It will be followed by a Q&A and a reception.

Tickets are $30 plus applicable Massey Hall service charges/fees.

Proceeds from ticket sales will help to support the non-profit programme which provides mentoring, educational, performance and networking opportunities. Honey Jam is a welcoming,  supportive sisterhood and a safe space for young women to not only learn about the industry but also to be vulnerable, to build self esteem and long-lasting relationships.

Application Deadline: WIMC Entrepreneur Accelerator 2025

Deadline to apply is July 31st, 2025! Successful Applicants will be reached by August 15th, 2025.

The 2025 Entrepreneur Accelerator including the mentorship program will run online from October 7th through November 18th.

Sessions will run from 7:00 PM through 9:00 PM ET (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM PT) Tuesday and Thursday, weekly. Mentorship sessions will run as per specific arranged times by participants.
